IG-HEAL is powered by 2 AA sized batteries and does not need a domestic power supply for operation. This also makes it portable.

How It Works

A concentric electrode system consisting of a central voltage-electrode surrounded by the ground-electrode touches the skin at the location of the acupoint chosen by the user.

A quick electrical pulse with a boosted voltage and short duration (0.5 ms) is applied to the electrode system.

The nervous system is locally stimulated through the principle of Transcutaneous Electrical Nervous Stimulation (T.E.N.S.), which results in the activation of the acupoint.

As a result, the energy flow through the corresponding (TCM Theory) meridian on the body is regulated.
